| REMEDIAL AND ENRICHED TUTORING
Top
Tutors provides tutoring service to students who require
remedial assistance as well as enrichment to the regular
program.
Tutors have an initial meeting in the parent's home to
discuss the desired goals and to meet the student. The parents
and the student must be completely satisfied that the assigned
tutor is capable of dealing with the student's needs. Tutoring
usually lasts for one hour per session in the student's
home, but group rates and half-hour sessions are available.
Each student has an individual program developed for him/her
based on their personal educational needs. In order to link
tutoring to the school program, our tutors contact the student's
classroom teacher for any pertinent information. The tutors
provide continuous communication with the parents on the
student's progress.
At the end of each tutoring term, parents receive a written
progress report detailing the specific areas covered, the
progress of the student and recommendations.
Top Tutors serves students of all ages (from Grade K to
12) and in all core subjects.
Tutoring is usually arranged within a few days of initial
contact.
